\section{Wprowadzenie}
NAMD jest narzędziem typu open-source przeznaczonym do wykonywania symulacji dynamiki molekularnej (MD). Narzędzie to jest szczególnie popularne w dziedzinie biofizyki i chemii obliczeniowej, gdzie służy do badania struktury i funkcji białek, lipidów, kwasów nukleinowych oraz innych układów biologicznych.
